Au natural + glitter!

Since I'm feeling glittery, I decided to re-swatch one of my favorites, Sephora by OPI's It's Bouquet With Me! This stuff is seriously glittery and shiny. It's like having a disco ball on your nails. This is three coats over a sheer purple basecoat. Honestly, this is the most concentrated glitter I've personally ever worn, and I adore it, even though I tend to dislike pink. My bottle is pretty old so it's getting a little goopey, but still usuable. Shiny!

Also, I've had people ask me what my nails look like without polish, so here you go. Eek! I get yellowing and staining easily, even with basecoats. Also, the middle and pointer finger on both my hands have really bad curves. I don't let my nails get any longer than this usually, because they start to curve really bad and break/peel and look weird.

This is halloween.. early!

Anddd I'm back! Since I've been feeling a bit better, I decided to give nail art another shot. It's been getting cold and fall-ish outside, so I thought I'd practice doing something halloween-ish.

My favorite is the candy-corn design, which is weird since it was the easiest. I'm probably going to do a full manicure of that design for halloween. I didn't think this turned out too bad since it's been awhile since I've done anything major on my nails. :)

Sally Hansen, Lightening
Sally Hansen, Yellow Kitty

By the way..

I updated my trading post with six new polishes I don't want. Three greens, one orange, one yellow, one metallic blue/gray. I haven't even used most of them, my mother bought them on a whim and she ended up not liking them. So, just a heads up if anyone's interested. I hate having polish just sitting around!

Sparkly!

Hey guys! Still no nail art, sadly, but I picked up some cheap polish the other day when I was filling my prescription.

I normally don't buy Sinful Colors because it chips so easily, but they had some nice colors and I couldn't resist. Hottie looks gorgeous in the bottle, and a bit less impressive on the nail, but I still enjoy it. Very sparkly. I had to use four thick coats for decent coverage, and probably could've used another since it's VERY sheer. The formula is also really thick and kinda goopy. I think it'd look amazing over black or another dark color. And despite the thick coats, it did dry quite thin and not as bumpy as some glitters I have. Sadly, I already have a chip on one nail and it's only been a day so far. Oh well.

I also picked up a lovely shimmery orange by Sinful that's currently on my toes; I'll be using it for halloween I believe. I also snagged a very nice looking, strange black/blue glitter by Nicole by OPI. I did a test swatch and was disappointed to see that it's in a clear base(it looked like a dark jelly base in the bottle), so I'll have to layer it over a darker color to get coverage.
