Sally Hansen Fuchsia Shock crackle

Hello everyone! No art, once again.. sigh. I was feeling quite sick this past week and I've been very stressed out, so I've only been doing plain polish, when I've been doing anything at all. The other day, however, I did pick up one of the Sally Hansen crackles I saw at Target!

This is one coat of Fuchsia Shock over Sally Hansen Lightening, with topcoat. I haven't used many crackles, but I really do like this one. The formula was nice and thin, as opposed to the China Glaze crackle I have, which is thick and goopy. I applied one coat over completely dry Lightening and it cracked very nicely and quickly. I really like this color combo. I think the colored crackles appeal to me more than the black/white/metallics, because I like trying bright color combos.. they remind me of the 80's, LOL. I did a pedi on my mother using Fuchsia Shock over Nicole by OPI's My Lifesaver and it looks really bright and fun, too.

I know most people are crackled out, but they've been impossible to get around here so I'm pretty slow on trends, haha. I think I'll be adding a few more of the colored crackles to my collection for those lazy mani days! ;)

I'd also like to say hello and thank you to all my new followers! You guys are wonderful, thank you for all the kind comments! <3

  1. Wonderful color combo! I am not yet over the crackle polishes yet, as I don't own any myself! I'd love to get my hands on some just to play around with. Great job!

  2. These are all amazing, i'm so glad i found your blog! the big question is, how in the world do you do your right hand? (If you are right handed)? My left hand always looks fine and then my right hand looks like a 4 year old did it...
