Hi guys! First off.. I just wanna say I'm embarrassed with how badly these photographed. I promise they look so much nicer in real life. I have no idea why my nails look deformed, they honestly look normal to me.. ugh. Every since those damn acrylics they have not been the same.
Anyway.. this is Shellac, which I just got the system for. I like it. It's so glossy.. so glossy it was impossible to photograph without getting reflections in my nails, haha. I have it on my toes as well and it's been almost two weeks with no chips at all. This mani has about a week of wear to it. My nails have been very weak after removing my acrylics, so the shellac has been great since it's stronger than regular polish, which had been chipping after a day. I only have a few colors of gel polish so far(including some OPI Axxium), and it's been fun to play with.

Pretty, have you had any issues with your nails being week after the shellac too?

ReplyDeleteYour nails look lovely, although I had a similar experience with acrylics (and then gels as well)... it took me months for my nails to get back to normal. I will never get acrylics or gels again, although I'm tempted to save up for a gel polish system (a la Shellac / Axxium / Gelous / whatever) just for the longevity factor.
@Stephanie: I haven't removed it yet on my fingers, but I've used it on my toes a few times and haven't noticed any difference in my nail strength there.
